Immigration Information for All International Travelers

Because of global epidemics such as COVID-19 and Monkeypox virus, immigration procedure and quarantine guidelines are being frequently changed. Please check the lastest information below and visit official websites for additional information. Please make sure to prepare required documents on your own responsibility before your departure.

2. Quarantine Guidelines

• Pre-departure PCR Test

From 00:00 AM on September 3, 2022 (KST), a negative result of pre-departure COVID-19 test is NO LONGER required. 

• Post-arrival PCR Test 

From 00:00 AM on October 1, 2022 (KST), a post-arrival PCR test (within 1 day after arrival) is NO LONGER required.

3. K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

Nationals of 107 contries who are eligible for visa-free entry should apply for K-ETA before boarding the flight or ship (see the attachement for K-ETA required countries). Please keep in mind that approval can take more than 72 hours depending of the situation. Please note that K-ETA is NOT a visa. (For application, click here.)
